Security Specialist with Security Clearance

Dutieso Track and perform physical security inspections on all Mission Essential Vulnerable Areas (MEVAs).
o Initiate and submit background investigation reports to determine security eligibility of individuals.
o Advise on laws and regulations to ensure the proper course of action is taken to resolve security issues.

Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes performing physical security inspections, developing written integrated security plans, verifying personnel background checks, working with local security partners, briefing employees on current security situations, and interpreting laws and regulations to advise commandThis definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09)OR Education:
Ph.
D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:
Security Management, Cyber Security, Physical Security, Criminal Justice, or Homeland SecurityOR Combination of Education and
Experience:
